Hello, my name is Leonardo Almonte and I am a freshman at the City College of New York. In my free time I like to do activities such as photography and cooking. As a person who has grownup in New York, I love to take pictures of random places around the city but realize how polluted the city is. Thus, this issue has prompted me to take an interest in ecoliteracy with New York. My ecopoetics class taught me the importance of understanding art pertaining to the environment and how it affects others actions towards the environment.
